Do you like embroidery transfers with days of the week?

These type of transfers can be commonly found in the Aunt Martha Hot Iron designs, with the themes from Scottish pups , busy birds, kittens and Sun Bonnet Sue doing their daily tasks.
Since I am in the middle of stitching projects and do not have much to show, I thought I would share with you a set of vintage Ladies of the Week transfer designs that come from Woman's World dated 1928. This magazine is not in connection with the current Woman's World of today.
How about you? Do you like days of the week designs?
What is your favorite?
By the way, you can click on the transfer and then be able to copy a copy for yourself to embroider.

After tasks are done in the early part of the week, it's nice to take a break and visit a friend!
I love the simple lines on this design .
So many options on how to embroider it!
Do you take a break from the busy week to get together with friends?
Check back each day for a week, for each day's transfer!

I have several sets of dish towels embroidered with days of the week patterns. They make great shower, birthday, and Christmas gifts and I have the fun of embroidering them.
I love visiting your embroidery blog. It feels like a visit back in time to my childhood when my mother and grandmother sat on the front porch each afternoon and embroidered house linens.

Yes I do like days of the week designs. I used some on a baby quilt too, not just towels. I'll be watching for the others.

That is a sweet design. Yes, I love the day of the week patterns. I'm so glad that I have the ones that my Grandma made for me.

I bought some white cotton napkins that I want to embroider but haven't attempted to have a go at it just yet. I don't want to mess them up. My embroidery skills aren't great. I'm much better at cross-stitching on aida. Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

I like days of the week designs, especially with kittens and other animals. Kind of silly, but cute!

What sweet transfers. You know, Kathleen, these 'old fashion' designs always bring out a feeling of happiness in me.

Actually, every Wednesday a friend and I get together for some chatting and spiritual sharing. I'm usually off on that day, and she doesn't have to go into work until later in the day.

Blessings,
Marianne xo
