Last year......around this time.........

I finished stitching a set of seasonal clothesline pictures that I have for years now, wanted to stitch and then to place in my laundry room.
I framed each one in a separate frame........but never really liked how they looked and never hung them.

I finally found the perfect frame to fit all of them ................

Since each picture reflects a different season, I found a wonderful quote about seasons to place around the stitched pieces.
Now it is hanging in my laundry room and it is just as I have wanted it to look. I have an old scrub board hanging on the wall as well. I am thinking about sewing and embroidering a laundry bag for clothes pins to also hang beside the dryer..................what do you think?
If I had the room.............although, I don't, I would place a large scrubbing tub on the floor...........
Here is the quote for the stitched picture:
Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance.
How about you?
Do you like to decorate your laundry room?
Does it have plants..........a special framed painting perhaps?
I would love to hear!

Your laundry room looks so nice! It would make the work fun! And the little pictures put a sparkle to it. My room is in a mess right now due to plumbing problems but it could be nice; I have pretty wallpaper and window valance, two old wash boards, and old flat irons. But...there's also the chicken house moniter with its big wires and hole in the wall. Sigh...

Your laundry room looks so nice and I like the way you framed your stitchery.
We live in an old house and even though we added on a new kitchen a few years ago, we don't have a laundry room. The washer and dryer are in a closet off the kitchen. I'm just happy not to have to take it downstairs anymore!

Your laundry room is very lovely. I love the window. My laundry room is the size of a small closet and has no window. It is plain that a man designed my house.

Hi Kathleen, I loved your set of seasonal clothesline! They are just striking as framed! Very well suited at your laundry room too!

All my very best!

Kathleen, these are so sweet, and I like framing them together. What a cheery thing to see while you do the laundry.

Yes, I like your laundry window, too.

Blessings,

I truly love your laundry room.I don't have one but used to have a washing machine and when it stopped working, I decided to do laundry manually because I can save on power and water.I also had a scrubbing board but now we had made a concrete scrubbing place.
