Christmas candy

is one of the highlights of the season that I enjoy!
Ribbon candy in all different fruit flavors...............

and peppermint. I have always thought that the candy cane is one of the prettiest candies........
so bright and cheery.................but wouldn't it be wonderful

if the candy cane had flowers stamped on it??
I decided to have fun with my idea about candy canes..............
stitching flowers along it...........

and was delighted at how it turned out. Almost good enough to taste...............
don't you think?
How about you?
What is your favorite Christmas candy?
Is it the candy cane...............or ribbon candy??
Maybe rich chocolate fudge?
I would love to hear!

Love your flowered candy cane!
My favourite candy?-All of them, except fudge, which is a bit too sweet for my teeth.

Oh this candy cane with the little flowers is gorgous. It really did turn our beautiful. I love everything with details and this just makes it perfect. I remember the ribbon candy as a child and what memories is brings back.
I'm afraid my favorite is any candy made with chocolate. Chocolate clusters with peanuts, walnuts or almonds. YUM.

Have a great weekend.
Happy Creating, Celestina Marie

Definitely chocolate but your candy canes are scrumptious.

Your candy canes are so pretty! What will you make them into when you finish stitching?
I have always loved candy canes. When I was little, Santa always brought us a huge candy cane in our stockings and I always looked forward to it:)

I love Christmas candy too! I love the coconut balls that are yellow, white, pink and chocolate.
I also like the hard candy that looks like a raspberry.

Your candies look deliciously cute! I guess in future, some day, we might invent edible cloth and thread too! ;)

Well, as soon as I like chocolate, then my favorite will be some chocolate cake with chocolate frosting...yumm!

An absolute delight, Kathleen!! I think the flowers on the candy cane are wonderful...as soon as I saw the design I smiled cheerfully. Another success.

I love chocolate truffles, but as a child I adored the candy cane and the clean, fresh taste, especially when the air was cold and crisp outside.

Blessings for more wonderful Christmas Ideas,

Marianne xo

The flowers on the candy cane are perfect! Are you planning to use the design on kitchen linens?

Since I broke a tooth on peanut brittle, I try to stay away from hard candies. Chocolate covered cherries sound good for Christmas.

Beautiful embroidery....
I remember my grandparents taking my brother and I to a little ribbon candy store. We watched them make it. I've always loved it, and the sweet memories that go with it.
