Sometimes, I get so absorbed in my needlework....................

That I get a gentle reminder to stop and pay attention to my cat...........
Salem.
I stepped away for just a moment, to come back and find him lying on my work, with his paw right on my needle, as if to say.............
"enough!.............pet me, and pet me now!!"
How about you?
Do you have a helper in your studio or sewing room, who will not take no for an answer?
I would love to hear!

LOL, Yes I have two of those. And when they decide they want attention, they will not be ignored! :-)

I know my furry kids are the same. Every now and then bringing a toy over and asking me to play.

How cute, those little furry paws are right there enjoying your work. My little dachshund, Rusty, doesn't get too far away from me, in fact he is sitting in the chair with me now.
Although he doesn't like the sewing room so, he will go into the guest bedroom and wait for me.

Love your blog. Your embroidery is exquisite and this photo, with your "furry friends" paws is so heartwarming. Two of the things I enjoy so very much . . . my needlework and my kitty-friends. Thank you for expressing what I have so often felt.

Oh yes! My cats Andy and Toby really resent me sitting with my sewing. They pace back and forth on the table in front of me, and won't stay down. They really make it a challenge don't they!?

Ha! Yes, Jingles will certainly find a way to make her presence known. :) Lovely stitching! Best wishes, Tammy

Unfortunately I don';t have any helper now, but I had a cat, who never used to interfere in my deals, but just was quietly sleeping somewhere near by :) I do miss that time...

I don't have a pet. But like to have one after the kids have grown up. Beautiful photo.

Ha ! Yes, I have quite a few furry reminders . Salem has his paws over some mighty fine needlework there.

I don't have a pet, my daughter wants to have one but I cannot manage to take care. Will see when she is ready to take care on her own.
