I love these dishes so much. I originally inherited her pie plate and have gradually added to the collection. My favorite rose is the Cherokee Rose, Georgia's state flower. In my personal garden - my Chicago Peace roses are my favorites - for sheer gaudy size of the blooms and aroma. What beautiful work you do Kathleen - I so admire your patience in finding just the right colors and designs. I have a Blaze rose that climbs our back fence. We've had it for many years and it is such a dark red it's almost black. Its fragrance is heavenly. It is my favorite rose in all the world. But then, too, I've never seen one I didn't like. :)<BR/>Hugs, ElaineElaine/Muddling Throughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07542943000832182111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-268529800904221520.post-61065674214830499342009-03-14T11:55:00.000-07:002009-03-14T11:55:00.000-07:00Hi Kathleen, I soo love roses too...especially th...Hi Kathleen, I soo love roses too...especially the pinks. I really notice the pretty roses in city municipal gardens and city parks etc. The wild roses are pretty too. You have the prettiest colors of embroidery thread in that photo. Makes me want to look at mine. We are going rving and I am taking some embroidery while I bask in the hopefully sunny weather.papel1https://www.blogger.com/profile/17857244375483965314noreply@blogger.com
