My husband says his favorite week of the year is the year between Christmas and New Year's when he can slow down and take account of the closing year and the coming year. I am looking forward that time, not as much for introspection, but for stitching! Wishing you a Merry and beautiful Christmas.
I LIKE that quote. In Northern Indiana, at my age, you can't do much but sit back and watch the snow from the window and be grateful that you can stay in and relax. Merry Christmas xx, Carol
I have enjoyed the Christmas season and New Years. Now to look forward to the quiet time of Winter. I will try and have my needle and thread close at hand to stitch and create. Wishing you a year filled with Happy Stitching. Look forward to following along and seeing what you will have to share in 2017.

You're all set for the cold days of winter! My stash of crochet yarn can't wait either, but it's almost too cool in the sewing room to quilt.
So pretty-I imagine you always have colors around you!

I am looking forward to winter, it gives me time to stay indoors and work on some projects. Love those old buttons!
Wonderful quote... A reason we shouldn't go south...so we could slow down:)
