The weather has calmed down, bringing rain showers off and on and the strong winds seemed to have blown away to somewhere else.
The plants and Zinnia garden I have planted around the greenhouse are in full bloom and make the whole area cheery.
I experimented planting pink Rose Moss on top of a Caladium bulb and the results...... a beautiful pink and green Caladium in the center of the pink Rose Moss. If you click on the picture, you can see the Caladium peeking through in the middle. This really made me smile!
I love Zinnias. They are so easy to grow and when they get started, they are hearty and cheery!

I experimented with various sunflower seed this year. This is an autumn mix and I just love the color! The whole flower is the size of a small dessert plate!
Sunflowers have got to be the happiest flowers on earth! Your gardens are lovely.

Love your sunflowers....I knew there was something I forgot this year!! Some day I hope to have a whole plot of sunflowers! They are so beautiful as they turn their faces towards the sun! And what a tasty treat for the birds!!
