Hi everyone! The weekend is over and another month is almost finished as well. I spent a lot of my supposed sewing time outside, as the weather was cool and cloudy due from the much needed rain we received. I did, however, get one side of the dresser scarf done. It works up very quick so I should be done with the whole scarf in a day or two, depending on how much stitch time I can get in. Thanks to all of you for your sweet comments. I love hearing from you!
This is looking beautiful. I'm working on a pair of pillowcases that I was zipping right along on. I've kind of run out of sit-down time so that I can finish them. I'm so close, too!

How very feminine and pretty! I am still amazed at you - I realize I waste a lot of my time (doing what? well golly I'm at the computer right now aren't I?) but still haven't gotten into the needlework mode. The weather has been amazing - we are getting rain right now - thank you Lord for the blessing of rain in August!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen, this is the sweetest scarf...I love your color choices and what a delicate edge....pretty, pretty. It is going to be just a lovely piece.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on a stitchie for Halloween...it's a Blackbird Design and coming along nicely. I also want to stitch ornaments for Christmas, both holidays are just around the corner...time is flying by. Hugs, Linda
By reading all your comments, makes me think I am surely out of the loop! I use to cross stitch, and still have a few things to prove it.
ReplyDeleteI do love your work, and your choice of colors on things. I would label you an artist of the craft!
keep up the good work.
Such beautiful and delicate stitching...
