Thanksgiving is here..............

And I want to take the time to wish all of you who stop by here to visit a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. We are blessed as this is a time where all of my family members get the chance to "slow down" and to get a break from the "busyness" of life. I have planned out a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for family and friends and then I hope to get in a few stitches of some new projects I am beginning. Are you expecting a house full of guests?.................or are you traveling?
Will you get the chance to slow down and stitch or create something?
While I am away and if you tire of reading my past posts, I have a wonderful
wonderful cobbler recipe for you to try............just hop over to my country cooking blog........
. If you would like to read about my life on the farm that  I am trying to create..........hop over to my country living blog...........
and meet some of the critters that I share every day life with.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. As I follow your blog, I want to wish you and your family a Blessed Thanksgiving. Your blog has been a special blessing to me this year, even with all my sickness and recuperation from surgery you have been sunshine to my heart.
Be blessed and hopefully slow down from the hustle and bustle enough to realize just how blessed you really are.

    For a long friendship...

  6. I wish you and your familiy and friends a blessed Thanksgiving. In Germany we celebrate not Thanksgiving but "Erntedank". It's the first Sunday in October and we thank God for the good harvest. Most of our churches clebrate it with a little feast on one of the farms in our neighbourhood.

    Have a good time

  7. Happy Thanksgiving Day to you, Kathleen, and thank you for sharing your beautiful handiwork this past year.

We'll be having about a month's time off from chicken work, so I hope to get some things finished.

  8. Happy Thanksgiving Kathleen. Today is a normal school day around here, though my boys are off because of parent conferences. We used to do big Thanksgiving affairs with friends but now that so many have moved away, it is just us so will be a quiet, regular kinda day. But, we do get 3 days off because of Islamic New Year so I am looking forward to a long weekend with lots of time for relaxing and I am definitely gonna check out your other blogs when I get home this afternoon. Blessings to you and yours, Tammy
