To my surprise........the little crazy quilt I made

is getting published!
I had published a  post about this little quilt I had made back in  November 2011. You can read it here at this link
I have had it hanging in my vintage shop as decoration........and have had customers wanting to purchase it......but I never wanted to let it go.
I haven't given it much thought and was thrilled when a the publisher of  Crazy Quilt Quarterly Magazine contacted me to ask if I would be interested for it be published.
So now, the photos and article have been accepted and it will be featured in the fall addition coming out August 1, 2015!
It's funny.........even though I get to look at it any day I want.............
I can't wait to see it in print!

Let me know when it's available and I'll purchase a copy. You deserve this, you are so very talented, and I'm glad you've been recognized for it. By the way, it's a beautiful quilt.

    Blessings for more successes,

  6. Kathleen, I was just on your Etsy shop and I see a couple of things I'd like to give as gifts (I'm still deciding on what I want for me), and I see the pink pair of your handmade baby booties. I was wondering if you have any in another color - I know you used to, but you may have already sold them. I love pink, but the young woman I want to give them to doesn't want pink for her daughter, so any other color would work. If you don't that's fine and I'll choose something else. Thank you,
    Marianne

  7. How wonderful for you! This is just beautiful. I have always wanted to do a crazy stitch project, even going so far as buying all the books I can get my hands on, ribbon, lace, silk and velvet fabric, and all kinds of special threads. It's somewhere in the pipeline.....
