The last mason jar on the back of my shirt has been finished

if you have not read about this in my other post, you
can click onto this link  Mason Jar Shirt
 about the beginning
of the work on this shirt

This jar had small flowers that remind me of wild roses,
mixed with berries to go with the berry jam

and a couple stalks of wheat
The first jar has Queen Ann's Lace

The second jar has forget me nots and poppies

here are the jars when I first tinted the design

and here they are, all embroidered

I now need to embroider the upper back, the sleeves, and the front..
I have many hours of stitching ahead.
Still not sure if I will wear this when I go to town or
if I will just enjoy wearing it at home in my gardens.
So tell me
what are you busy creating?
I would love to hear!

  1. I am in awe of your talent with a needle. A beautiful creation. I am working on a rug at the moment and decorating.

  2. Oh my goodness! These are oh so lovely. I wouldn't want to wear this out in my gardens, it would be ruined in no time. I'd rather hang those on my wall. You did a wonderful job and inspire me to keep creating.

Have a great week ~ FlowerLady

  4. These designs are beautiful beyond words! By all means, wear the shirt when you go out; as Flower Lady said, they're much too pretty to wear in the garden. Oh how I wish I could embroider as you do! All mine has to be simple. ;)

  5. This is a stunning shirt. You've done a beautiful work here!
I'm trying to get in gear to start another painting, and I have a fiber art cat to make for my daughter-in-law. Otherwise, I'm trying to stay cool here!

  7. Oh Man!! Thank you for the close up and bigger pics of these jars. I really like the shirt. Right now I am back to stitching boro style on a jacket. I figured I better get busy on it because fall is moving in fast and I really want to wear it this fall.
