has allowed me much time to stay indoors to stitch
the hours away.
At the moment, I have several projects in the
workbasket. I change from one project to another
on different days. One day I cross stitch, another day
may find me crocheting, and then there is always the
call from my embroidery needle to stitch.
So tell me.........
what are you keeping your creative hands busy doing?
Embroidery, quilting, crochet, painting?
I would love to hear!
Your embroidery is charming. It reminds me so much of my youth when I always had a needle in my hand, either sewing, embroidering, or knitting mittens for the cold winters.
ReplyDeleteNow I hook rugs and mend clothes. Last year, I did a lot of crocheting. Like you I like keeping my hands busy.
Hugs,
Julia

ReplyDeleteI keep busy with embroidery and quilting. Your work is so pretty, on quiet days I keep my needle work busy,
ReplyDeleteI love this project you're working on. The colors are beautiful too. I'm working at drawing and painting. Thinking about warm days-getting much closer!
ReplyDeleteI did a lot of embroidery as a teenager, in fact my denim jacket was my pride & joy, however now that I have a dollop of arthritis in my hands I stick to my trivets or machine sewing. I still love all things fabric! I enjoy your blog. Linda
ReplyDeleteYour work looks beautiful... so happy to see it. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm cutting linen fabric for a summer dress... and sewing my second blouse top... yes, I enjoy jumping between projects too :-))) the best part is of course when one is finished.
I wish you a happy week and send you many kind regards. Viola
I'm working on two stitch-alongs -- one that releases on Mondays, the other on Fridays. But other than that, not much else, though there's sooooooooooo much I could be doing. Must get organized. Always lovely seeing your beautiful work. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteI am doing some crochet and also downloaded a pattern from DMC to do embroidery
I love the heart-shaped smoke puffs rising from the chimney!
