I want to take this time to thank all of you who stop by and leave a comment. It is so wonderful to hear from all of you and to see the common threads we share in the things we do.And I just love visiting your wonderful blogs! I especially love to hear about what you are working on! So please come back!
On the Belle, I added a charm,
and stitched her onto a tote/market bag. These are some things I am hoping to sell this summer at the market. I am not sure if anyone will be interested in such things....but I am having fun anyhow......and that is what it's about........right?

Also, I am still stitching on towels, which I think will be a good sale at the market.....or I hope they will be. How about you? Do you like to purchase bags or do you prefer more usable things like towels and linens? I would love to hear
Kathleen, your Southern Belle is very pretty. I think bags are such a big thing right now. They are great for so many things!
ReplyDeleteI have some dish towels that my granny stitched on and the girls love to use them for their "tea party" tablecloths.
Have a wonderful stitching day!
I love the tote you made! Gosh, I love it all~~linens, towels, totes, lol!!!
ReplyDeleteLove what you did with the Southern Belle. I would make both the bags and towels. Very "usable" items right now.
ReplyDeleteDo you sell on Etsy? or your blog. I like the bluebird towel. Yes, I could stitch it, but I have 26 quilts I am trying to finish this year. If I start one more project, I will commit myself, LOL
Blessings,
Jilly
I am not much into totes/bags but would beautiful towels and linens of all kinds. Your embroidery is just amazing. I would like to use the pencils to do the coloring but don't know where to find them. Do you know if Michaels crafts carries them?
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful Kathleen! I think you made a wise choice!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Love the tote. I like anything I can use.
ReplyDeleteYou do such beautiful work... heirloom items to be passed down.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
Warm wishes Tonya
I think both tote bags and linens of all kinds would sell well. Your embroidery is just wonderful! I am thinking of doing a quilt of embroidered squares so I can work on the embroidery at a leisurely pace, and finish when I finish. Just getting back into embroidery.
ReplyDeleteKathleen, The bag is so very lovely! I think you will do well with them! The towels are also great! It's nice to have practical yet pretty items!!

Hi Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteYou've done a gorgeous job on your Southern Belle!
And I love the bluebird; I think Pam Kellogg did this one some time ago. I remember seeing it on her blog.
