which is actually one of 12 of the different flowers in a coaster set I have been working on for a good bit of time. I work on the set a little, then get lost onto another project. Do you find yourself doing this?
This is a work in progress that I am hoping to finish in a couple of days.
How about you?
Do you find yourself in the middle of a project and yet still have other works in progress?
No matter how much time I know I have, I always wind up doing this...........the reason...........
I really don't know why.................I don't get bored stitching the same thing......................
What do you think?
Absolutely know what you mean! As a quilter I'm always thinking about the next project. I think it's because we love what we do. Your sweet peas look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I don't usually start something new until I finish the first thing. Once in awhile I have two things going at once. But I always feel like I have to hurry and get one of them done. I guess it's part OCD.:)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteYes, actually I, too, find my self in the middle of quite a few projects lately in writing. I'm trying to get back to writing my second novella, but the other day I was reformatting some children's stories I've written. That's what happens when one has so many ideas.
Wishing you a very joyful week,
Marianne xo
WIPs are my life!!! hehehe

Yes... lots of projects on the go... maybe it's a human thing...? Beautiful work as always.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet Sweet Peas. Don't you think that is just your creative mind working, we always want to be stimulated by a new project or a returning one. Your butterfly is going to be beautiful.

ReplyDeleteMore than one project on the go is par for the course with people who love their crafts!
ReplyDeleteSo have you noticed on my site that you rarely see a finished project??????????
ReplyDeleteSo the answer is yes!! I actually do finish the stitching but then I can never decided what to do with it!!! Pillow...frame....quilt...I am right now working on a baby quilt ...I plan on showing my stitching tomorrow!!!
As always thank you so much for stopping by...I love to hear from everyone!!!
Love your sweet peas. It turned out lovely. I really love the colors you are doing in the butterfly. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful and creative day.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
Both those projects are so pretty but my favorite of the two is the butterfly. Maybe it's just because I am 'into' butterflies at the moment but it sure is gonna be gorgeous when finished.
ReplyDeleteI love both of them the butterfly and the sweetpeas, two of my favorite things...I always have more than one thing going...and eventually finish them...I finished my dress pot holder and and I just finished a white and pink star...I have been wanting to Embroidery but just haven't gotten there lately...was working on my sachets as well...but I have a paid customer for my dress pot holders so I need to focus on that for now...HaPPY SatURdAY...WITH lOvE jAnIcE....HUgS.
ReplyDeleteI do that with quilting...that's why I never seem to completely finish anything! The only quilts I have finished were baby quilts, two quilts of a kid-size for our grandson, and a lap throw for my Dad's 80th birthday. I have lots of starts and unfinished projects!!!!!
