I have seen a few of these while browsing different sites
and fell in love with the idea!
Find a pretty pattern....like this
then embroider.......and applique the dress.....as best as you can ......
to match
Let me tell you..........it took me more time to create this
little dress than it would have taken to make the real one
I think. LOL
I enlarged and traced the lady onto a piece of white fabric,
embroidered her face, arms, and hair........and legs
I cut the scallops on the top of the bodice and bottom of dress.......
and hand finished them......
I used two different fabrics to create the dress
you can barely see it.....but she has a light blue netting underneath the scallops of the dress.
I really enjoyed creating this. I have no idea what she can be used for
but it was fun just to make her.
