A Frigid and Powerless Texas

I am in the middle of a project not quite finished to post here,
and as some of you know, I have a farm blog
Eggs In My Pocket........you can visit at this link

I am beyond weary after the power outage that our power company put
us through this past few days along with all of the hardships it has
brought to us. You can read my post at the link above.
I hope to finish my latest project and will post it here soon.
Hope this finds you safe, warm and content.

******UPDATE 2/19/2021**********

Thank you Merry Old Dame Holly and Lady Locust for your offer
to come within the comfort and warmth of your home.........that is very sweet!
And thank you all for your words of encouragement and prayers.
Today was very sunny and almost all of the snow has melted.
Our well house may be thawed and running by this weekend.

I am so sorry for this awful storm and its aftermath. I can only pray. And offer you to come over here to New Mexico and stay awhile. Embarrassingly, I have almost no furniture but I do have a bed and a futon-like thing (it's a horrible bed!) and I have lots of room. I have a walled back yard for animals and a small pen too.

Head north ~ we have power & you are welcome to come have a hot meal and toasty feet :-)
Blessings and prayers that it's soon restored.

I feel so bad for you and others that have lost power and water. Hopefully some relief will come. I cannot imagine being without power and water in the Winter. Janice

I've been following the story in the papers, how awful!!! I hope that you are recovering now that the storm is over. A big, strong hug.

Somehow I missed this post. I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Please take care, and know I'm thinking of you and your family.
