Nothing to show yet, I am still busy stitching away. The days are getting dark much earlier now, leaving me more time to be inside stitching. I have decided to delete my cooking blog. I don't have as much passion on posting on it as I do my other blogs. I know that Linda over at Somewhere In Time blog visited my cooking blog regularly as some of you other sweet friends. So for all of you, I am sorry, but there will be some good recipes posted on my country living blog "Eggs In My Pocket". now and then. I will leave the cooking blog up until probably the end of October. Thanks for all of your helpful comments and advice. I will be back on here soon maybe with something stitched up to show you!

I need to copy down some of the recipes friend - it is hard to keep more than one or two blogs going and do justice to them. Love your cooking ideas but you are right - you can combine it with your Eggs blog and it'll be perfect! Stitch away! yes dark far too soon for me - and light so much later! Oh well - grateful for electric lightbulbs and computers!

Hey there Kathleen, thanks for visiting me..I always enjoy looking at our beautiful stitchery! It's hard to keep up with several blogs so I think you've made a wise choice. I know you are getting alot of stitching done..look forward to seeing your goods when they are ready to view.

I know what you mean, Kathleen... we're losing daylight like crazy here!!
That's the only thing about this time of year I don't care for... we lock everybody up for the night and come inside and it feels like it ought to be 9:30 but it's really only 7:30!!

Can't wait to see what you've been stitching up! I just finished a little redwork towel with two church going chickens.

Now mom & I are beginning a redwork Bible quilt. I'm having such fun. You, Nancy Jo and Dani are such inspirations!

Blessings,
Lea

Oh, I'm sad to hear you will be deleting your cooking blog. I love it and so many of the recipes and little cooking stories you shared. This weekend I need to go through and make sure I have all the recipes I wanted. I'm glad you will still feature some recipes on EIMP.

It getting darker her too...in a way I like it. I like to get all cozy in a quilt and read or stitch with the TV on in the background. Have a nice weekend...hugs, Linda

Hi Kathleen, I decided to check in on your embroidery blog. You inspired me to get cracking on my fiber and needle work. I thank you for telling me how and when and how much time you work on your needlework.

I know I can actually do what I have set my mind on if I remember it is one of my priorities ( after family, and basic home care and upkeep).

I went shopping this afternoon, after putting in a few hours in my work room, and re-stocked some of my embroidery supplies. My embroidery is a bit rusty, but I think while I am teaching my granddaughter some stitching, the practice will help.

I am going to begin with some dish towels as Christmas presents, then after Christmas I hope to get back into doing up some nice red work pillowcases. Thanks again for the inspiration.
