With needles, floss, crochet hook, and yarn

I have plenty for my hand to stay busy and I
find it hard to blog.....even if it is once a month.
It seems to take me forever to finish something quick enough
to show you.

I am not always in a rush to finish.....just to show.....
as most of you feel the same........it's the process of
creating something that brings the true joy.
I did finish the above rug....using more of my yarn scrap stash.
I am still in the process of cross stitching the large peacock tapestry
that I have posted in earlier posts......
and I am also trying to find ways to bring interest to the vintage
linens that I sell in my vintage shop.
(photo found on pinterest)
Aren't these sun dresses adorable?
They are made from vintage dresser linens and fabric scraps.
I am thinking........and only at this moment ......thinking.....
about making models of things that are made from linens.....
to display on sale day at my shop,  in hopes of  encouraging and inspiring others to purchase
my linens to create such pretty things.
So tell my.........
what are you keeping your hands busy with?
I would love to hear!

I think that your crocheted rug is too pretty to put on the floor. I would put it on the back of my recliner chair. Your hands are always creating.

I remember the checkered sun dresses I used to wear ages ago but they were in one checkered color only. How things have changed.

I've kept my hands busy, finishing the edge of my previous rug and started hooking on a new rug and planting seeds indoors and transplanting and just doing house work.

Take care and enjoy a new day tomorrow.
Hugs,
Julia

Oh such pretty things! I love the colors of your handwork-so pretty! And the dresses-wow! Yes, models made like that would be so pretty. I can't wait to see what you make!

These dresses are a dream... I especially love the combination with the wonderful embroidery.
Yes, it requires having enough material to be able to implement it so creatively.
I'm curious how you decide with your bed linen.
Linen is great for clothing... I made a summer dress for myself (it's not featured on the blog yet)
Your blanket turned out very pretty, love the colorful yarn.
I'm sewing a pair of pants for myself... just failing at the buttonhole because the fabric slips. So I pushed little place mats in between... for relaxation.
Otherwise being outside... enjoying spring.
love greetings to you

p.s.Of course I'll finish the pants... the journey is the goal :-)

The rug is beautiful but I could never step on it! I would end up walking around it for fear of causing damage. You have done wonderful work.

My hands have been busy getting the garden planted. It is finally done and the weather is heating up so it is time to move to inside projects before the canning season begins. I'm here getting inspiration.
