busyness or bloggers block?

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Here I am posting without one picture of embroidery to show! I have plenty to stitch on, just nothing finished yet.{: This is a busy time of my life right now. Graduation for one child,my nest is almost empty}: (tears)and school finishing for another with him wanting to get a summer job. I guess it's from the anxiety of all of this and other detours of life.... I feel so run down! So I am going to spend this week, reading all of you blogger's wonderful posts, getting the house clean, the weeds cleared and maybe some stitching done. I hopefully will have something to show and to write about by then. But please drop a line or two and let me know what you are doing!

Let's see...Today I'm going to declutter my home. I do this usually once a month. Then, I'll dust and do my weekly house clean.

I finished an embroidered rose. (I'll post on my site later today) I started working on a table square. I put a tea pot transfer on it...like the one you posted in your last comment (I think?..LOL!) But the tea cup transfer didn't stamp well so, I'm going to have to find a new transfer and do it over.

Oh, I got the book you recommended. It has been so helpful...I'm going to purchase one after I take it back to the library.

Sorry this is long.

Have a great week!

what did I get done this weekend?not nearly so much as I'd hoped. Had to do some business (getting forms signed by tenants - time consuming and frustrating trying to track them all down),DH got the automatic gate opener - opening! Posted a little bit on my blog and cooked a couple of decent meals. How did I spend 72 hours doing that?

Hi Kathleen, last night was our stitch along. We have dinner before stitching and I'd made spaghetti, we also had a lovely garden salad and crusty bread...all so yummy. Even on a full tummy we got a lot accomplished...I'll probably post a progress picture this coming week.

Take this time to catch your breath...we all need to do that every once in awhile. Hugs, Linda
